The series aims at launching new research on culture, society
and political economy in Turkey from both established and emerging scholars,
with the goal of shaping the field. We are looking for original material from

Research and Publications on "Power and Institutions in
Medieval Islam and Christendom"
This is a cooperative effort led by a team that consists of
medievalists specialising in Western, Byzantine and Islamic history tackling a vital
historical question: Why did the Christendom government and society develop
certain processes of institutionalisation that did not characterise the Islamic
world, considering that the early medieval situation might have suggested
otherwise?

Internship Opportunities in Cultural Diplomacy for Students
in the Berlin Global Voluntary Internship Project
These internships will enable students to engage in cultural
diplomacy and in doing so, to further promote cultural diplomacy and
multiculturalism worldwide. The internship is open to currently enrolled
students who need this internship as a compulsory component of their academic
studies or participants of the ERASMUS program. The voluntary internships are
full time, unpaid, last 2-3 months. Applicants must have good spoken and
written English.
