(histoire contemporaine, anthropologie et sociologie) sur le fait

 American Political Science Association (APSA) invites applications from
 PhD students and post-doctoral fellows of political science who are 
currently based at institutions
 in the Middle East and North Africa. A smaller number of applicants 
from universities in the United States or Europe will also be accepted. 
This is a unique opportunity to network with colleagues from across the 
MENA region and develop discreet research findings
 related to the impact of rent wealth on democracy, state-building,

 conference aims to further our understanding of Iranian perceptions of

12. Post-doctoral Fellowship in Research of the Contemporary Middle East, Oriental Institute, Czech Academy of Sciences, Prague
The
 position is open to recent PhDs (not older than two years). Preference 
will be given to the following areas of research: 1) political Islam and
 the Arab Middle East, 2) modern
 and contemporary history of Iran. The requirements include working 
knowledge of English and Arabic/Persian and at least another Middle 
Eastern or European language. The position is beginning by

 Four PhD Researchers for the Project “Around the Caspian: A Doctoral 
Training for Future Experts in Development and Cooperation with Focus
 on the Caspian Region”, Dublin City University 
A
 36-month, full-time PhD researcher position; start of assignment not 
later than 1 September 2015. The planned research projects focus on the 
societal impact and the effect on
 identities, social organization and the daily economies of rapid 
economic change in specific provinces and urban areas in the Caspian 
region, using mixed research methodologies.

14. Postdoctoral Fellowship on Islamist Movements in the Middle East, Rice University, Baker Institute for Public Policy
Beginning
 fall 2015, the scholar is expected to work independently to pursue 
his/her research agenda. Funding is expected to cover 12-month 
appointment, with the possibility of
 renewal for a second year. Applicants must have a PhD in a field 
related to the politics, history, and societies of the contemporary 
Middle East such as political science, international relations, or 
history and must have demonstrated deep understanding of
