This conference will reflect on how Jewish, Christian, and Muslim traditions of the religiously remembered past and the religiously anticipated future shape understandings of Jerusalem within each tradition. It also aims to apply these reflections to an analysis of current views of Jerusalem within diverse religious traditions, through an investigation of how these sacred histories and eschatologies shape the way that Jewish, Christian, and Muslim communities understand the significance of the complex and conflicted city of Jerusalem today.

The prime aim of this conference is to understand the dynamics of the protests gripping many states and communities in the Arab region and also the current challenges to regime legitimacy in the MENA region. The Middle East Studies Association of North America (MESA) expressed its grave concern at Durham university's decision to withdraw administrative services from the British Society for Middle Eastern Studies (BRISMES) because of the vote by the overwhelming majority of BRISMES members to support the resolution that calls for the academic boycott of Israel.

34.  Full PhD Scholarship (Fees and Maintenance) in any Area of Law, Politics, or International Relations, Dublin City University

Outstanding PhD candidates will be offered a fee waiver and a tax-free scholarship of €16,000 per annum for four years. 44.  Chapters for Book on "Diasporic Political Communication: Theoretical and Empirical Perspectives" (Focus Middle East Diasporas)

We invite authors for theoretical chapters on Mediatisation, Diaspora, Multimodality, Contentious Action Formation, and how each of these concepts relates to political communication among (Middle East) diasporas. Empirically-based chapters are also invited that examine Middle East diasporas, and how these diasporas use traditional and (or) digital media to politically mobilise and transnationally connect.

A) "Resources for Teaching Online" is designed to be a space where we can share resources with each other about how to repurpose face-to-face course materials in an online format.

B) "Remote Conference Presentations" is a space created to give scholars an opportunity to share papers or presentations that were intended for now-canceled conferences.
